Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) is the most common neurological disorder in the United States. The struggles can be unbearable for millions of children and adults who suffer from this disorder. We’re developing a much needed personalbiofeedback wearable device. Our goal for this wearable is to help them manage their anxiety and other typical ADHD symptoms at any time of the day without interrupting or distracting themselves and others from their daily tasks. The wearable will detect when they’re going through stress and offer a variety of multi-sensory, interactive, self-management features. These features will adjust to the individuals stress levels in real time for the most personal and optimal outcome. This will be achieved through the use ofbiofeedback sensors and other hardware components within the wearable by connecting to self-management apps on smart phones, tablets or computers. The outcome goal is for the individual to function better in school, at work, improve their relationships with others and their overall quality of life!
"Eclectic Drummer.... Exceptional Performer" (Written about Matt Giordano)
"Suddenly there was synchronization, and they came together as a group, performing 'in the moment with the rhythm,' as Matt puts it." (Matt's drum circles) "promote a musical and social bonding with others, so that what began as a miscellany of isolated, often distressed or self-conscious individuals almost instantly became a cohesive group with a single aim - a veritable drum orchestra under Matt's baton." - Dr. Oliver Sacks
A deeply honest, personal, compelling and inspiring book written by Kathy Giordano (Matt's Mom) and Matt Giordano, about their story while Matt was living as a child with Tourettes Syndrome, OCD, ADHD, challenging behaviors and how they overcame many obstacles.
