Many children and adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) are brilliant and gifted people but have difficulties managing their symptoms, succeeding in schools and struggle with their careers and relationships.  

We are developing biofeedback wearable sleeves and gloves. The goal is to help reduce their ADHD symptoms such as anxiety, struggle with focus, hyperactive, behavior challenges and organization skills. This will allow these individuals to function more independently, achieve higher grades in school, increase work productivity, have better relationships with peers, friends, family and loved ones as well as improve their overall quality of life. It will also give schools and businesses the opportunity to have more inclusive, interactive environments and increase their chances for success while reducing the need for expensive accommodations.

The sleeves and gloves will fit comfortably onto both arms and hands of the individual. The sleeve will have biofeedback sensors to detect when the person is going through stress in real time. These sensors will work in conjunction with self-management  features to accurately guide the individuals physical and emotional levels to a more comfortable and functional level.  The sensors and other sleeve and glove components will connect and function with a self-management app on a smart phone, tablet or computer.  

The sleeves will have locations to easily attach a variety of interchangeable electronic hardware modules to operate and interact with the therapeutic features so the product may be customized and tailored for each individuals needs. This will increase the use of tactical sensory stimulation.  The sleeve and glove will have safe fabric conductive materials for all of the hardware electronic components to function.

There will be components that will detect the angle of every joint and the exact position of the individuals movement in space without the use of exterior sensors. These components will also be able to create various programmable levels of resistance to each joint. This will be useful for many applications such as virtual reality and simulate tactile resistance when touching and manipulating digital objects. This will allow the individual to operate and interact with software programs remotely through movement in a more realistic way. This will also allow for more realistic and effective results from the self-management features within this technology. 


Matt started playing drums at the age of 2. His symptoms of Tourette Syndrome and ADHD also began at the age of 2. Matt’s symptoms as a youngster were extreme, however he learned early in his life how music and the arts can help him cope with his symptoms, build relationships and succeed in life. His symptoms disappear when he plays the drums!

Overcoming many challenges has given Matt and his mom plenty of valuable insight and ways they can help others in similar situations. His mom has been the Education Specialist for the Tourette Association of America since 2003 and has helped thousands of lives. 

Matt started his company Drum Echoes, Inc. in 2003 to help others how he has been helped.  Through his company, he has had the privilege of working and drumming with thousands of gifted children and adults with ADHD and many other kinds of challenges across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Australia. 

Matt’s unique story and drumming work has received media attention from BBC, PBS NOVA, a New York Times bestseller book and many others. Throughout his career, he has learned the struggles many of the people he’s worked with have in common within their schools, their workplace, their families and social lives. He has also learned what their needs are and which solutions and self-management techniques are most effective. He is integrating those into this new wearable technology.

We need your help!

We need to raise money to get this concept built into a working prototype.

$3,000 to pay license therapists to finish the specs for the therapeutic features. 

$15,000 to pay license therapists to study the results of the working prototype during the beta test phase.

Estimated $250,000 to pay product design company during all phases of development. (We will have a more accurate price after working with the license therapists for the completed therapeutic specs)
